Terms of use

Last updated: April 24, 2026. By reading this site you accept the conditions described below.

Nature of the site

Bible in One Year is a personal devotional project. It publishes short reflections on Bible passages in English, made for daily reading and personal study. It is not, and does not claim to be, an official teaching channel of any church, denomination or religious institution. It is also not a counseling service, therapy, personalized pastoral guidance, or clinical or legal advice.

Permitted use

You may read the content freely, share the links with anyone, and quote short paragraphs for personal, educational or teaching use in your church, so long as you credit the source (for example: "Cruzsilla Gutiérrez — bibleinoneyear.org") and link to the original page where possible.

Not permitted without prior written authorization:

For any use beyond this, please write to contacto@bibleinoneyear.org and we'll talk it through.

Bible quotations

Bible quotations come from the English Standard Version (ESV). Brief citations are included for devotional, educational and commentary purposes, always with explicit reference (book, chapter, verse). If you hold rights and believe any citation exceeds a reasonable limit, write to us and we'll correct it.

Intellectual property

The devotional commentary, titles, original writing and design of this site are the original work of Cruzsilla Gutiérrez, except for the Bible quotations noted. Economic rights are reserved; moral rights (authorship and integrity of the work) are inalienable under applicable law.

External links

Some pages link to external resources (concordances, Bible dictionaries, etc.). Those sites have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of third parties.

No warranties

The content is offered "as is," with pastoral care and editorial diligence, but without any guarantee. The reflections are sincere interpretations from an evangelical Christian perspective (see editorial policy); other Christian traditions may read the same passages differently, and that is part of the natural conversation of faith. Verify the quotations, discuss with your local community, and come to Scripture with discernment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Cruzsilla Gutiérrez nor the Bible in One Year site will be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the content, nor from the personal, spiritual, financial, family, or health decisions a reader may make based on what they read here. For important life, faith, or health decisions, turn to your local faith community and to qualified professionals.

Editorial decisions

I reserve the right to edit, correct, update, or remove any reflection at any time, especially when an error, inaccurate citation, or interpretation that needs more nuance is detected. If you use a specific URL from this site elsewhere, note that its content may change over time; the update date appears at the start of each page.

Changes to terms

These terms may be updated. When significant changes occur, a new date will appear at the top. Continued use of the site after a change implies acceptance of the updated terms.

Applicable law

As a personal project without an associated legal entity, any disputes that may arise will be interpreted under the laws of the author's usual country of residence, and amicable resolution will be sought before any formal proceeding.
